Cadence is a read only viewer for your own GitHub contribution history. Using the app means accepting what is below.

Who we are

Cadence is published under the project name Lokas Solutions, which is not a separate legal entity: the repository, the GitHub organisation and the support address all use that name. The app is the work of Ivan Lokas, trading as Lokas Solutions, of Put Šepurine 1, 22215 Raslina, Croatia.

Minimum age

Cadence is not directed at anyone under 13. Apple sets 13 as its own floor for the App Store, and Cadence needs a GitHub account to do anything at all, which carries the same minimum.

App store terms

If you downloaded Cadence from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of it. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. These terms supplement those agreements rather than replace them; where the two disagree, the store's own terms control.

The licence

Cadence is free, and installing it gives you a personal licence to use it on the devices your store account allows. The app is not sold to you as source, and it may not be resold, rented or redistributed. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Sponsorship

Cadence has a GitHub Sponsors page at github.com/sponsors/ivanlokas. Sponsoring is a voluntary donation to Ivan Lokas as an individual, not a purchase: it buys nothing, unlocks nothing in the app, and creates no obligation on either side. It is handled entirely by GitHub, under GitHub's own terms; neither the app nor this site collects or sees any payment.

Your GitHub account

You need a GitHub account, and your use of GitHub is governed by GitHub's own terms. Cadence asks for the read:user scope and uses it to read contribution counts. It cannot push, edit or delete anything. You may revoke access at any time on GitHub; the app will keep showing the copy already on your device.

What the numbers are

Cadence reports what GitHub reports. Contribution history is not fixed: it shifts when a private repository becomes public or commits are reattributed, and GitHub's own counting rules decide what qualifies. The numbers are provided as they are read, for your own interest, and are not a record you should rely on for employment, assessment or any other formal purpose.

Availability

Cadence reads offline from the copy on your device. Syncing needs GitHub to be reachable and your access to be valid; neither is within our control, and no uptime is promised.

No warranty, and limits

The app is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those your local law requires and does not allow to be excluded. Cadence is free, so to the extent the law permits, liability is limited to nothing. This cap does not apply to death or personal injury caused by negligence, to fraud, or to intentional misconduct or gross negligence, none of which can be excluded or limited under Croatian law. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Ending use

You can stop using Cadence at any time by uninstalling it. We may end support for a version or discontinue the app; if we do, these terms keep governing any use of a copy that remains installed, and nothing here obliges us to keep any store listing available.

Changes to the app and to these terms

Features may change between versions. If these terms change, the date above changes with it and the current version is published here. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Croatia. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.

Severability

If any part of these terms turns out not to be enforceable, the rest still stands.
